Need to build a decent computer with a lot of memory, need recommendations

My Uncle called today asking me if I could build him a brand new computer. He said he doesn't need 3d graphics or anything of the sort because he is not going to be gaming on it. It is strictly for lots and lots of files, internet use, power point, etc (it's a work computer). I assume he wants it to be able to run at a nice speed, however I am used to building computers specifically for gaming. My question is: what parts would you recommend I use as far as a motherboard, CPU, how much RAM would be necessary, etc. Thanks for your time and suggestions.

Intel Core i5-3xxx
16GB Memory
Intel 120GB 520 Series SSD for OS/Apps
Western Digital 1TB 64MB Cache 7200RPM Drive for Data
Intel DB75EN motherboard
Any decent micro ATX case
Windows 8
Office 2012 Home & Student Edition (or small business edition if he needs Outlook )

That's what I'd build him. Or an All in One with same specs.

what is the budget?

I would assume something along the lines of:

i3 (could get by with a pentium or Celeron also) or FX4300

Z77X-UD3H or 970A-UD3H (you could go 990X or 990FX, but it would not give any improvement).

8GB of RAM. Ram is Ram, it is all pretty much either Samsung or Micron, and does the same job with the exception of the 30nm samsung green, which makes a really good performer RAM, but nothing needed here.

A case with cable management. Something like a source 210 or corsair 300r.

PSU from a decent brand with ~500 watts.

2TB HDD from WD, Samsung or Seagate.

If you go for AMD, you will need a GPU, a GT620/640 would do just fine. You only need it as the 900 series chipsets do not have an iGPU like Intel does.

DVD drive.

should be it.

For a business computer, I'd say that the processor doesn't have to be much more than a 2GHz dual-core (even that is probably a bit overkill), any he shouldn't need more than 2GB of RAM. If he's going to put a lot of files on it, probably a 128-256G hard drive would be plenty. That's really all the advice I can give.

as a business machine, if its just webbrowsing and excel and stuff, 8 gig ram and a i3, if their doing multi displays maybe a low end gt series nvidia card for more displays.

Intel Celeron G540 2.5 Ghz CPU
Asrock H61M-DGS Motherboard
2 x 2gig Gskill memory

two month ago I built a system like this and it worked well. Plenty fast and budget minded. No add on cards needed.
