Need to change IRQ of firewire port to be able to use firewire Audio card sucessfully

hello, im having a hard time with HP DV9082eu when trying to use M-AUDIO 410 (an external firewire audio card) because my firewire port is sharing irq 16 with Nvidia graphic card and other devices...
is it possible to change my firewire irq maybe to irq18??
i tryed to switch from acpi computer to standard pc but no sucess and lots of missing drivers etc...
is this possible???

Is there actually a problem? I searched around a while back trying to fix a similar problem and ended up finding nothing. I think there are ways, but they end up being much, MUCH more trouble than it's worth.
