Hi!
I've been trying to figure this out on my own but eventually had to ask for help because there are just too many options. I must get it right because this new PC will have to serve me at least 3-4 years.
There are some issues with this CPU (i think) that actually slow the memory down.. so I see no point in considering anything slower than 1800Mhz then there's the voltage issue (that it has to be lower than 1.57 volts, and I think that the lower it is the better). Then there's the CL6, CL8... which I don't even know the meaning of.
Can you recommend specific modules (manufacturer + model) that would be fast, reliable and fault-free offering good heat dissipation. I'm not asking for absolutely the best (cuz that's big bucks), however, I am prepared to shell out a few extra $ on a good product.
I need 8GBs of Ram and I don't even know if it's better to get 4 modules of 2GB or 2 models of 4GB.
The P8P67EVO motherboard is insane. It offers lots of options for RAM Overclocking... so that's probably something I should take into consideration.
Thanks!
