Need to find windows xp start up disk's

What do you need them for?

from: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994:
Who should download the Setup disks?
You should download the Setup disks if all the following conditions are true:

* You are installing a new, full retail version of Windows XP.

Note An upgrade installation of Windows XP does not require the Setup disks.
* You have a working CD drive, but you cannot start your computer from your CD-ROM.
* You can start your computer from a floppy disk drive.

Note The Windows XP installation CD-ROM is a startup disk and can be used to start Windows. When you use the Windows XP installation CD-ROM to start your computer, you can use the Windows Recovery Console to help recover the system software. Does that help?

I was wondering my computer does not have a floppy drive to do the startup disk's is there another way to do this installing the windows xp

then you have to make sure that your cdrom is the first boot device. the xp cd will boot, then load some files, and eventually put you in a spot that you can change some partition info and format the drive and start your install.

I dont have a windows xp cd so I have windows 2000 cd how do I wipe everything out and load that windows 2000 cd? Thanks

Is there a site or link that tells me how to reformat the hard drive and that and to install the other stuff?
