Need to mix together some songs.. Suggestions??

My class has elected me to create a dubstep/dance mixtape for a dance thing. I'm not going, obviously. Basically, i need to mix together little excerpts of songs and put it all on a CD. I need two things: A FREE program that will allow me to cut out portions of songs and put them on a CD and some song suggestions! Basically anything you could dance to. throw em up.

You could use Audacity or Goldwave to do the editing, then just save them as MP3's and burn them to a CD.
