Need to upgrade Mother Board, CPU, Maybe hardrive

ok i have a pentinum 3 600mhz PC packard bell about 6 years old now..9GB hard drive:( and seeing as its having so many problems im thinking of replacing the whole motherboard and cpu by buying them togther..i may also change the hardrive but prefer to keep the same power supply..the power supply says input 240 and output 230...i just wanted to know what kind of thing im can get and put straight in..and wanted to know what i would do when i install it as in how to i put a operating system onto it and so on and will the PC just reconise the changes...i dont major upgrade just a tiny bit probably just 100-300 mhz faster...and harddrive wise i dont even know if i will be changing it..basically i just want to know what to get and how to install...i can fit it in just need the after you put in the pc advice...if anything on ebay or something that would fit tell me..i dont know if different motherboards fit in different pc cases.
 
probably if u get a new cpu and motherboard ull have to get a new case cause the motherboard dont fit in the case i can help if u want to build a cheap good one meant for ur needs
 
no offence taken lol i use the pc just for internet access really...use laptop for more powerful programms and yeh if you could get me a simple pc on budget would be great
 
Dude just take my advice and buy a whole new PC. If you are still running a P3 600mhz then you need to upgrade! You don't have to blow the waters, but get something completely new.

You can build a half way decent computer for about 800-900 bucks
 
guys guys for just internet that is comin close but.... you could build one around $400 depends do u need everything? operating system, keyboard, mouse? supposably u use keyboard and mouse from that one - how much do u want to spend
