I'm currently trying to finish a video editing project and my computer is going extremely slow. I need to upgrade the processor, but i have no clue what to do... My computer is a dell 2400 with 640 mb (going to upgrade it to 2 gbs at pc3200) The processor is a 2.66ghz Pentium 4. By looking on the intel site i now know that it does have a 478 pin configuration and I'm assuming for a better processor to work that it has to have the same pins. I don't know whether the FSB or the other details like that have to match my existing processor. PLEASE HELP THE PROJECT IS DUE SOON!
