Need to upgrade ram

Hi

I wonder if someone can help me

I want to upgrade my RAM, I have 2 lots of 4GB but want to upgrade to 2 x 8GB

My motherboard is Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd.

Model Z77-D3H (Intel Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz)

RAM

Total memory slots 4

Used memory slots 2

Free memory slots 2

Memory

Type DDR3

Size 12288 MBytes

Channels # Dual

Can anyone recommend or tell me what I need to buy

To be honest, it would be better to get new ram being 2 x 8gb sticks of dual channel ddr3 1600mhz and replace the old with the new. You should be able to find some Gskill brand around $70 USD.
 
It appears you have 1x8GB and 1x4GB sticks in there for the reported 12G, which are operating at 1333.

Getting something faster like 2133 CL9 would give you a performance benefit and wouldn't break the bank, but otherwise would be looking for whatever DDR3 kit.
