Need video card recommendation.

I have a Compaq Presario SR1053wm. The MB is ASUS A7V8X-LA, Expansion slots, 3PCI and 1 AGP 8x/4x{1.5v} PSO: HIPRO Model HP-D2537F3R 250w. OS: Windows XP. I need to know what video card I can use to use a TV as a monitor. Any help appreciated.

What kind of input does your TV have? S-Video, component, VGA, DVI, HDMI? If your computer only has an AGP slot then your selection will really be limited. Let's start with a budget and we'll work our way from there.

Your better off getting a card for AGP, however, dont expect to be playing any decent new games with stunning graphics. AGP is better than PCI, but it is no match for PCI-x.

My TV is a Emerson LC320EM1F. It has 3 HDMI inputs,1 Component Video and Audio {L/R} , 1 S-Video/Composite Video/Audio {L/R} Input jacks for VIDEO and 1 Antenna input jack. It also has Audio output[L/R jacks, Audio Input [L/R] jacks and a Digital Audio output jack. I don't play many games except ones on Facebook.
