Need wireless network help

OK guys so here is the deal. I have Verizon Fios with an 80mbps download and a 35 mbps upload. It works awesome and runs my stuff fine. I have the actiontec MI424-WR router they gave me when they put it in. I have a storage unit 500-550ft away and would like to run a computer and security cameras on. What could I run that I would be able to get a signal this far. Also I'm in the Los Angeles area so ppl all around me will see my signal, how can I get better protection so ppl don't try and bootleg or jack my info. I'm willing spend a bit of money within reason. Verizon wants between $100-150 a month for a phone and fios line. It's actually a seperate address I keep all my tool for work in, but it has an industrial address i.e. buisness address. I did see something like this http://hawkingtech.com/products/hawking_products/outdoor_wireless_solutions/HOW2R1.html Then I go to N.E. and it has terrible reviews. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...y-_-33164043&gclid=CLHDzcjg0LgCFbCDQgod7jsAHA So I just found this one also http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005K8ATU8 I just want something that's guaranteed to work without all the hassel.

Thanks

I see a bunch of views but no comments yet. Has nobody tried this yet? I guess I'll have to call the manufacturers in the morning and see what they tell me.

BUMP....

Go with this if your average consumer router won't reach:

Put it in a window facing your storage trailer.

I have no line of site. It's actually a warehouse, that's 550 ft away with a few trees and an apartment building that's 2 stories and blocks my line of site. My house is a single story. I'd need like a 50ft antenna on each side to get a clear line of site. Maybe higher I have some big trees in this area.

Then you very well may be out of luck. You could try getting one of these with an external yagi directional antenna, and then another yagi directional antenna on the receiving end, but without line of site and buildings and other obstacles between the two, the chances of it working are very slim.
