Need wireless USB adapter compatible with Linux

Hi, I recently lost my Netgear N150 WNA1100 wireless USB adapter and am on a hunt for a replacement since it is out of stock. My main priorities are

• good strength (mostly be using it college corridors where routers might not be that close)
• decent size (not like TP-LINK TL-WN722N) since I don't want to embarrass myself in front of my friends when I pull out that long antenna
  
• out of the box compatibility with Linux since I will be mainly using it on Linux Mint.
• budget under INR 1k

On other shopping websites (like Flipkart and Snapdeal) the price is around Rs. 750. I guess the one you suggested might be imported. I would rather wait until the stock is replenished.

they are between 300+ - 600+

Thanks for the suggestions. TP-Link TL-WN725N seems like a nice replacement.
