I am new to this and my friend that is helping me is out of town. He told me to order the stuff and he will help when he gets back. If you can take the time to give me advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure your friend will know it, but in order to use that heatsink you want to buy you will have to unscrew the original socket base from the motherboard. Also be sure your case has plenty of fans because that heatsink is fanless.

I'm also sure that one will come with better directions than my Antec cooler did
