Needing some assistance with a problem i am having

Recently my computer has been giving me some some issues.
Within the past week anytime i open internet explorer or mozilla, the browser will freeze up. "Not responding" pops up at the top, a few seconds later everything is fine.

If i watch videos, they are laggy. Volume is fine but video is all jumpy.
It doesnt matter if i have 10 tabs open or 2 tabs open.

Actually, coming from weather.com to computerforum.com within the same tab, it froze. I can do other things on the computer fine. Open the start menu, use AIM messenger, everything else is fine except the browsers.

I have not tried to uninstall either and reinstall. Figured this couldnt be a problem that would be solved by doing that since it is both of the browsers doing it together.

Computer is a Dell XPS 8300. i5 2320 3.00ghz, 6gb ram. 64 bit Windows 7 home premium.

Bought the computer from Best buy just a few months ago, it was one of the display desktops.

Also, this has been going on for a bit longer, but if i have say..15+ tabs open, a video playing on both monitors, either my video card crashes or im not sure. But my computer will freeze, both displays will shut off, and then blam, i get a nice bright blue screen. Computer will attempt to restart. at the blue screen it will count down or collect some data or something. I have forgotten what all it does. But it will end up shutting down, or it will try to. It will stop at the Dell screen with the model of the computer displayed and a status bar beneath all that.

Doesnt go any further then that. I have to shut down the computer via the on/off bottom and turn it back on. Everything is fine after that until it crashes again or until i begin ripping my hair out when my browser freezes.

I can take a video of all the madness if that would help someone, help me.

Well, hopefully someone can give me some input on these problems.

Thanks

-Sean

well its bluescreening and doing a kernel dump. John could give some input into what to do, theres a program he has that decodes the kernel dumps and gives a idea of what happens, but in the meantime, if you can remember what the 0x number is when it does bluescreen that may help, though if it was a display model, id probably say a good idea would be to just wipe windows and start fresh, i dont know what state that machine may be in at this point.

Sean, I'd recommend testing your RAM with Memtest86, bad RAM is usually one of the most common causes of BSODs and freezing. Download it here http://www.memtest86.com/, burn the ISO to a CD, boot off the CD and let the test run for about 8 hours or so. If it passes, remove one of your DIMMs and try again. I know it's tedious but it could well be the issue.

Might be worth checking your hard drive too. There are various tools which allow you to do this, see here http://www.computerforum.com/211596-list-hard-drive-diagnostic-utilities-test-your-drive.html

What video card are you running and also what power supply?

Lets see about that bluescreen.

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Not 100% sure on the video card but i do believe it is a AMD Radeon HD 6450

Here is what i got from the bluescreenview.

Definitely a 6450, i just checked.

I havent had any issues at all with the browsers freezing. The problem randomly showed up

Im updating the driver right now for the video card.
Thank you for the help
