k im on a school comp.. Someone ran "assoc .exe=.txt" in command prompt... now all .exe files won't run... anyway to fix this, or is comp ****ed up forever?

Yes it's fixable.
In My Computer pick tools->folder options->file types. Scroll down to where .EXE would be and check if .EXE is there. If it is change the association to Application.
If that doens't work you can run this (or just run it anyway and skip the above): http://filext.com/WinXP_EXE_Fix.reg

k how do i run that? i click it and open's it all up in text... sry im really not good at comps

You are on the computer with broken exes and double clicking it does not merge into the registry?
Start->run->command
From the command prompt enter:
cd\windows
copy regedit.exe regedit.com
start regedit.com
In the registry editor, file->import. In the file dialog that opens find the file you just downloaded and press open.
