Netbook: ASUS eee PC 1000H OR Samsung NC10

I decided to get a netbook and I've narrowed it down to two choices. the ASUS 1000H eee PC and the Samsung NC10. It will be used mainly for schoolwork, the internet, light multimedia. The only major difference I can see in the two are the oddly placed right shift key on the ASUS, and the smaller touchpad on the Samsung plus the single bar mouse button. other than that they both seem to be about the same as far as specs go. I was leaning heavily towards the ASUS until I came across the NC10. So now I'm liking the NC10 a tad bit more. What do you all think?

The Samsung has a nicer screen and so would be better for multimedia. Also it has a bigger keyboard.

But if you are looking for something to use for web access and office then I'd reccomend the Acer Aspire One. It has a bigger keyboard (95% of a normal laptop keyboard), and is cheapre (£175). It only has 512 megs of ram but that is easily upgraded. I ordered mine yesterday!

I just bought an Asus 1000H from BestBuy for $129.00 and it works great. feels nice and quality unlike other netbooks. Runs cool and isn't loud at all. Also 802.11n. Either netbook is a great choice.

It only has 512 megs of ram but that is easily upgraded. I ordered mine yesterday!

Think again...You have to take apart the whole netbook to get at the Ram and Hard drive. One of the reasons I went with the Asus

i have always liked the samsung more, but i havent used it enough to declare a winner

I Two second the Acer Aspire One!!!

I bought the One with an 8 gig SSD but mine came with 1 gig of ram.
Bought off of amazon for 256.99 free shipping and no tax for me ! Wootage!

But if you're not liking the Acer way, I'd go with the Samsung. It's Just beautiful.
