Netbook connection

Hi
Can anyone tell me how to connect my wife's netbook to our main desktop computer? Should i just use a usb cable or will i need something different. The reason i need to do this is that we have Office2007 on cd but as the netbook has no cd drive i can see the only way to load it on is to copy it to the main pc then copy that to the netbook.
I have tried to download from Microsoft website direct to the netbook but this version is no longer available as a download. Office enterprise 2007 is the actual version we have.

If you have a USB thumb drive you could copy the cd contents to the thumb drive and use the thumbdrive to do the install from. You will still need a license key to activate office on the netbook.
 
Right, that sounds easier. Will have to get a new one as the ones we have are only 64M, which is a bit small.
