I just bought an HP 110 Netbook (Atom Z270/160GBHD/1GB RAM/10.1 inch screen) running Windows XP-SP3. I have the same operating system on my desktop. I receive E-mail okay on my desktop (P4 1.7GHZ) using Outlook Express.

I purchased a router so I could use the netbook anywhere in the house. And the netbook works great with the router. But I have not been able to get Email on the HP netbook.

I Do Not get an error message on the netbook. Outlook Express comes up but no Email. Yes, I had Email on my desktop but that Email did not come up on the netbook

On my netbook I went into the "TOOL" menu, then clicked on Account, and clicked on Properities and set the Outlet Express in the netbook to the same settings that are on my desk top computer.

But E-mail does not come up.

I am sure it has something to do with a setting. Can anyone help, thank you.

Unless you change the "leave message on server" setting on your desktop, you won't get the same mail delivered to your netbook. If you are saying you can't receive any mail to your netbood then obviously you have a setting wrong. Contact your ISP on how to set it up.

If on your desktop you have setting that does not leave any mail in you actual e-mail account, then you would not be able to get that mail to you netbook, as there is no mail to go about to download. so you have to go to account option on you desktop, and change in the last tab, i think, not sure as don't use express, to keep mail, in mail box. that should sort the problem out.
