Netbook - Gradient type images show lines?

Hello. I just purchased a netbook, and realized that when a gradient type background shows up, the screen shows it, but if you look close enough, it has "lines" in it..Is this becuase netbooks have lowend graphics? It displays everything else normal.

Well what kind of Notebook is it? it could verywell be resolution or low end graphics, but it could be a factory fault too.

I started to reply and kinda forgot to send ^^; I agree though... Could simply be how the GPU or even LCD shows the image. Newer drivers might help out.
