Netbook requirement

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking to buy Samsung NP305U1A-A07IN Netbook.

Is it good netbook ? i have searched about it but i could not find proper review about this netbook any where,

Also are we able to open about 4-5 different web browser [not diff TAB of same browser] at a time , or will it decrease the speed ?
 
A netbook is a netbook. They're basically all the same.

As far as opening multiple browsers, the more browsers you open, the more RAM it will use. If you're running 5 different browsers at once, it will eat up all your RAM and your computer will be slow. Maybe look into a low end notebook instead of a netbook that can support at least 4GB of RAM.
 
I am highly unsure what the specs are which will not vary much but it would be nice knowing what gen atom cpu is in there, whether is was 1 GB or 2 GB or memory and what version of Windows it came with.

You would be fine with opening multiple tabs without killing performance unless you use Chrome because it opens a new process for each tab which kills multi tasking on old and/or lower end hardware.

Sorry you want to run multiple browser at the same time? Did not read that clearly I guess, seems a little over kill but yeah I would recommend a lower end laptop in that case as well.

He said separate browsers, not tabs inside the browser.
 
Not sure what netbooks you guys have used but I just tried an experiment on my daughter's Acer Aspire One AO150 netbook with the Atom N270 processor and 1.5G RAM running Win 7 Pro. I was able to open 10 copies of FireFox (not tabs). The memory usage was still under 1G and the netbook was perfectly usable.

The Samsung model the OP is thinking about comes with a dual core AMD E-450 processor with 2G of RAM. I'm sure it could easily handle having 4-5 browsers open without issue.
