Network adapter driver

I have a linksys usb network adapter and I need the driver for it. I don't have the cd/floppy and i need it to work on windows 2000. I have tried to download some,m but they are all the same...They open up in winrar and don't have a setup or anything. Any help would be much appreciated./
 
the lionk doesn't work and I have tried that same file 3 times and it doesn't have any way to install or anything. Is there a way I could make it use the stuff in that file? If so how? It is running windows 2000 pro
 
okay, i got the driver and the internet worked, then quit, and I restarted and it still doesn't work. Is there something wrong???
 
Try the obvious first,what does device manager say ? any red X or unknown device ? soemthing might have messed up after the restart.
are you getting connectivity ?
