Network Adapter Keeps Disconnecting

I picked up a "Belkin N600 DB Wireless Dual-Band USB Adapter", upgraded from a "Cisco Valet AM10", and I am experiencing connectivity issues.

I will have a stable connection, then out of nowhere it will reset itself. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver, trying multiple USB ports, switching back and forth between 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz, nothing...

The old network adapter worked fine, but ever since the upgrade, I have started experiencing all of this.

Any ideas?

5GHz was the upgrade factor, or at least what was intended lol. Can you think of any reasons why this is happening, or should I just draw the conclusion at Belkin?

Belkin is crap, plain and simple. Get something different. Try Asus, Netgear or even TPlink with Asus being my number 1 choice.

That doesn't sound like much of an upgrade.

Usually you end up with a more consistent experience using higher quality components.
