Network adapter missing in Windows ToGO

Hello everyone, this is my first post so I hope I'm doing it correctly, I didn't find any forum rules or anything so I'm just jumping right in.

I installed Windows 11 on a SanDisk 256GB USB 3.0 using Rufus's "ToGO" option, but after I get the OS up and running I can't connect to the internet. After a little research I went into the Device Manager, selected "Show Hidden Devices", and saw that my Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCle Adapter had the Code 45 error of not being connected to the computer.

1. In the host OS on my HP Pavilion laptop the internet works fine.
2. I also have Tails OS running from a USB 3.0 on the same laptop and I was able to connect to the internet without adjusting anything, so I figure that the hardware is set up so an OS on USB can find the network adapter.
3. I took the USB with Windows 11 ToGO to a different laptop and the network adapter was connected and the internet was working.

Points 1-3 make me think that the issue can be solved somehow.

I thought that if I tried Windows 10 or 7 the issue might dissappaear, but Windows 7 wouldn't boot, and in Windows 10 the network adapter didn't show up even after I clicked "Show Hidden". I reinstalled Windows 11 on the USB using the ToGO installation option on Rufus, to try to uninstall/reinstall the Network Adapter, but now the Network Adapter isn't showing up on Windows 11 at all either even after showing hidden devices.

Notes:
-I get the System Properties notification: "Windows created a temporary paging file on your computer......." when I boot up the ToGo OS, but I got that error on the laptop that was able to connect to the internet so I'm doubtful that is the issue.
-When running the Windows 11 ToGO on the USB, the OS detects some random Bluetooth devices I don't recognize (maybe nearby SmartTVs), but isn't detectable as the name it says it will be on my phone, and it doesn't detect my phone. I was hoping to just hotspot the internet from my Galaxy S20 FE but it seems like something is wrong with the bluetooth connection as well, although the OS does detect some devices so I don't know what to think.

Please help and thanks for reading.
