I am running XP and recenlty I discoverd that I had in-built ethernet LAN connection on my Shuttle M/B. So I downloaded the driver and hooked up my cable to that LAN but it kept giving me "Network Cable Unplugged" error. If I use my own ethernet card then everything works...It's so frustrating..I need to install some other cards so I need PCI slots and want to get rid of my ethernet card..Please help.

to what do u have it connected.
it can be that the other device is a 10 mbit hub or router.
the hardware default could be at 100 mbit.
try to set the network card speed on AUTO detect.
at ur properties off the network card
