I have a dilema. I have a Dell latitude d600. I have for the longest time used my wireless everywhere card for accessing internet as my family has a wireless router. Usually when i plug in my card it recognizes it and accesses the network and a little computer with bars appears in the corner. Now when i plug it in, nothing. I tested the card on my sisters and my brothers laptop and it works. So id say its my port, because i accidently left the card in when i put my laptop in my bag. If its the port how can i tell, or is it a software problem? If it is the port i have no idea what to do to fix it.

Make sure you did not use a cross over cable, or just try a new cable. Also make sure you don't have an ip specified.
 
Wiring cable? im using a wireless network card. is that like a network cable cuz i dont use one. I plug a network card into my pcmcia port. Anyway i just got my internal one working so i guess that will work.
