I am not sure if this is in the correct section, but if not I do apologize.
I have a Dell Dimension 2400 in which I recall not seeing the lights blink when I would connect an RJ-45 (I only believe that this may have gone out)
This is part of the mobo and I have an Dell Dim 8200 in which my NIC is connected with a PCI Slot
My question here is should I just be able to remove the NIC from the 8200 and use it on the 2400?
I have these two comps here and I am trying to figure what to do with them. My mom would like to have a comp to just use for web browsing so I am seeing what I can do. I just begin taking classes so my skills are not where they should be , but I enjoy reading up everyday on this forum.
