Network Design tool????

Grab a piece of paper and a pencil and just scribble like a mad man. Then you'll have basic idea of infrastructure used by most large corporations. This is your best bet. Good luck.
 
Cisco has network simulator tool, and I cannot remember the name of it.

Googled around, and it's called Cisco Packet Tracer. It's primarily educational, but will work to design a network.
