Hi. I consider myself to be quite the pro on networking and can generally solve all my problems myself. However, this time is an expetion. This morning i woke to find that my network and ADSL was offline (after a thunder storm). I resarted the router and the ADSl light came back on. However my network between my three home comps isnt working. Here is the situation:
- Comp One can access the net and says its network cable is plunged in. It cant access any other comp though.
-comp 2 claims its network cable not to be in. Which it is. The network cards light isnt on either. So it cant access the web or network
-The third is saying "limited or no network connectivity" and cant access the net or network.
-My router is saying that 1 and 3 are connected via its little lights.
All my IP's are acquired by themselves.
So it all worked fine yesterday...but now its all screwed up! What could be up? I changed nothing, and did nothing. However this moring i think 2 had turned itself on, as im pretty sure i turned it off last night and it was on this morning.
I dont think its the routers problem as i pluged them all into another hub and it still didnt work. Is it possible that somehow the huge thunderstorm last night did something somehow??
Any help on this issue would be VERY helpfull!
Thanks heaps!
