Network panic !!

Hi
Is there anyone out there who can help me, I really don't know what to do!
I have upgraded from Vista to 7, and it has turned out to be a nightmare, Outlook and Word had error messages, which I have hopefully managed to repair, IE didn't work right until upgrading to Ver 9, but the biggest problem I have is with the network, there are two computers, and a printer on this, connected by ethernet cable to a cisco router, the system has created a public network as well as a home, and everytime I shutdown either for upgrades, or completely, I lose the network. This does not happen on the other computer that works fine. Any ideas please:(

Sounds like you did an inline upgrade of Vista to 7. Although MS supports it, most experienced users will tell you that method is problematic, especially if you were having any problems prior to the upgrade. The most reliable, trouble free way is to format and do a clean install.
