Network Point Splitting

Hi,

Does anyone know of any reliable adapters to split an Ethernet network point into two points, without having to do any wiring.

The reason I ask is because the network point I need to use has two Ethernet ports which are currently being used; one by a networked laser printer and the other by a networked computer; but I need to network a laptop into that point as well using a wire, because there is no wireless network.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

If a router is already being used, then you would just need to get a 4 port switch and add it in after the router. However, a router will usually have 4 lan ports so not sure where you are only getting 2 ports to connect to.
