Hi guys.
Got my whole network setup now, after about 2 days of setting file permissions ready for a new system.
Anyway. I have a fully updated HP All in One 2610 Printer, on a Netgear DG834G.
Printer is connected via rj45, instaled on every system. Was working fine.
Decided to play a little scenario, say one that would happen if my power went out.
So.. I decided to reboot my router.
Router comes back up.
Only certain systems see the printer as Offline, sometimes if the computer hasn't been rebooted it can print fine.
Other times, It frows up an error, Or cannot connect.
This happens to any random system while at the same time a system next to it can access the printer perfectly fine
Ive tried.
Rebooting router, rebooting printer, then rebooting all systems.
Rebooting router, rebooting all systems, rebooting printer.
Also noticed that some system will not automatically bring the printer back online when its actually ready to print, I have to manually select use printer online.
And on one of my downstairs systems I often get an error, System cannot connect to printer, this could be beacuse of a VPN issue blocking access to the LAN, (something like that)
Printer is set to automatically obtain IP.
Anyone had this problem before, seems really random, insanley annoying though!
Thanks for any help
EDIT: Just tryied pingin the printers ip, works fine, no latency issues, network running normally. But i try to ping the printer name and it gives up, almsot like the printers specifically blocking a certain system.
