Network problems

One of my colleagues recently changed their password on their PC, but when they logged on they could not access certain directories on our network. I tested changing my password on my machine and the only thing that happened when I logged on and tried the network was it asked me for a user name and password and when i entered that it worked fine. My colleague did not get this request.

Anyone come across this?

Sounds to me that the quick fix to your problem may just be to create a new user account. Instead of troubleshooting, just delete and recreate the account with the same settings as she has before.

I have not heard of this happening a lot, but it has happened to some people i know.
