Network profile takes ages to logon

My Dell Latitude D610 takes forever to logon to the domain. Why is this? It is a newly created profile and there is not a lot of data on it at all.

It just says Applying computer settings.

Can take 30mins to logon at times.

I have taken it off the domain and re added
Changed network cable
Changed network point.

Neither have corrected the problem. Any ideas?

EDIT: This actually would be better in the network forum. Mods please move if you think it has to be.
 
Problem solved.

It was a program trying to auto connect which slowed the process. I have now disabled this and logs in no problem.
