Network Wall Plates

Does anyone know where the wires of a network cord need to go on a FMP188 wall plate? I have hooked a different sort up before but this one is different. Can anyone help that would be great!

The FMP188 wall plate is a coax-cable wall connection plate isn't it?

If so, you will need a coax cable connector to connect a threaded bolt socket on the end of the coax cable (Just like your cable tv)

No it is for a network cord the standard RJ45 cord.

i take it you have another cord to plug from the wall to your computer if so use that as a guide match up the colors orange to orange and so on and the returns i dont member if thos have the color strips on them if not hmm i dont know what to tell ya but try that first if not go on line im sure you can find a pic of a rj45 connector

This is the TIA/EIA 568A/B rj45 termination standards. Does that help?

FMP188 IS a co-ax style wall socket, you may well have modualr RJ-45 wall plates, but they are certainly not FMP188
