Networking Needs

Hey,
I'm trying to setup a home network, but Windows' Wizard is being uncharacteristicly(haha) unhelpful.

I currently recieve my internet through a single port modem which is directly connected to a router. I have a PC, connected via ethernet to this router and a wireless laptop which operates...wirelessly, from the router.

Is this all i need to set up a home network/is it configured correctly to allow me to do so? AND finally how do i go about it?

any help would be great, thanks,
Ben

p.s. I've so far tried the wireless wizard, which failed as it requires you to use an "access point", resulting in a network which only my PC is connected to, which i can't see, or find, and is only alluded to in writing when i re-enter the wizard as an option "would you like to add another computer to your network"

I read your post and would really like to help you...but I have the same issue. Sorry to hijack your thread but we need answers:)

Bump....

Do not use the wireless wizard. Just run the small office/network setup wizard on both machines. Both machines to be on the same workgroup but have totally different names. Its actually really easy to setup.
