i have security thing that if i turn in netzero and if i dont use it it shut downs in 2 hours is there any way to stop that thing
 
Well it's probably a function of the software the monitors the connection. Usually it's a saftey feature so you don't stay connect for days (if you forget somehow). You should be able to find the time delay in the properties or settings of the program. A little more info on the program you use and we might be able to narrow it down.

P.S. I'm guessing you have dial-up
