never burned dvd's before. help please

ok i have a bunch of .avi movies and im trying to burn them to disk to play them in my playstation 2. however when i do it says please insert playstaytion one or two disk, usually plays burned dvd's so why wouldn't it work?? i have a sneaking suspicion that i have no idea what i'm doing. :cool:
 
well its an .avi files, what u want to do is use a program like "Avs converter" that will convert the avi files to a dvd format type....once the convertation is complete it will tell u to insert a dvd and it will burn!


and ur done!
 
you gotta convert it to DVD format. iso is an image file...if you use avs converter on top it will say "to DVD" click that and browse for the .avi file and convert :D
