In the last couple of months I had lots of issues with blue screen error and also sudden freeze. I use Windows7, 32 bit.
Yesterday I checked the memory, using memtest, and here is the result for both memory sticks:
Yesterday when Ii was checking the memory, I ran the test first with one stick, then I inserted the other one, tried to start memtest but the pc didn't start and started to smell like melted plastic. I stooped the pc immediately and the ram that I was testing was extremely hot and the small etiquette was a bit melted.
Now the place where the RAM used to be doesn't recognize the memory anymore.
Do you think that the blue screen is coming from a faulty motherboard?
Please I really need some advice because I am a bit desperate with this because it's been on for many months now and I want to try to solve the issue.
