I must say those ads that stores put out really work. I was looking through the Sunday ads and came upon the Staples ad. After looking through it I made the trip down to the store and picked up several things, this is what I got.

First and foremost, a new laptop! (Yes I know I buy lots of them, lol). This is an Acer 14.1", Celeron M 1.86GHz, 1GB DDR2, 120GB HD, 256MB Intel X3100, DVD Burner, 802.11b/g, 6-cell battery. The total after instant savings and such was $399.

The second thing I purchased was a new desk chair for $90, I already love this thing!

And heres one of the best deals on accessories. It's a wireless keyboard and laser mouse, which cost a total of $15!!

Thats good, although I have a G15 and Razer mouse now, I'm thinking of using this as a secondary keyboard and mouse that I can use when im on my bed, since I have two monitors connected to my computer. I just couldn't pass up that deal :P
 
All of the Staples here are out of the keyboard and mouse combos. Me and my roommate were going to get them.
 
Wow...those are some pretty nice deals! I'm in need of a new chair myself, so I'll have to check out my local Staples tonight/tomorrow!

Edit: I'd go for the Acer, too, but for some reason, I still have a hangup on Celerons (Odd since I always promote 'if you can get by with it, buy it').

Thanks, as for the Celeron, it's actually a much better performer then the Sempron's. The Celeron M's are based off of the Pentium M's, not like the Pentium 4's which is what you saw in most desktops. It's fine for what I need it to do, it's not a high powered processor but it is a nice mobile chip to do more basic tasks. It's not like im going to be rendering video on this thing anyways, lol.

Ya it is, and I haven't decided about the RAM. it has two 512MB sticks so I would need to buy a 2GB kit. 1GB seems to be fine so far for what I use the laptop for.
 
i like it . portability with laptop. nothing but weight with mine.
the chair will be a nice add-on.
works for me.
