The New ATI Graphics Cards Will Be Names The Following:-

X1800 which is based on the R520 VPU.
X1600 which is their mid range SKU based on RV530.
X1300 is their low-end SKU based on RV515.

(Rumor Of A Mobile Version Called The X1400 is still a rumour)

Interestingly, there are 16, 24 and 32 pipes versions

The core clock of the card is 650Mhz+ and memory at 1400Mhz. The R520 card uses 1.26ns GDDR3 memories. The 32 pipes R520 performance will exceed the GeForce 7800GTX.

The release date is the first week of October.

Do you know the price of each???
Will they be PCI-E or AGP????

I am interested in buying one and if you could answer those that would be good. :D

ATI are only making these in PCI-E, and they are discontinueing x800 in AGP as well, the highest AGP we will be able to get is the X700

The X700 is a PCI-E only card, I have it. Anyway, any word on the prices of them???

nvidia's not screwed, thats for sure. but this might be just in time, as ill be getting the 7800gtx in a couple months, unless the radeon flagship is comparatively priced, in which case, ill be gaming ati style :)

Its on anandtech.

from the newist article on anandtech in the video section

Those of you who know a little bit about GPU architecture should recognize the "ultra-threaded quad-core" design as a standard GPU. X800XL/XT would also qualify as ultra-threaded and quad-core, as would the 6800GT/Ultra. They have a core split up into groups of "quads" - four pixel pipelines that can be deactivated as a group in case one of them is faulty. Our understanding from the documentation is that there are once again four quads, so expect to see 16 pipes on this card. There are some "confirmations" of 24pp and 32pp, but the roadmaps clearly say four cores/quads (at least to begin with) due to yeild. All signs indicate that a future generation, R580, will use six cores instead.

I would not put my money on seeing a 32PP line version for a long time.
