alright.. so AA V 3.0 comes out in the fall. And i want to build a good computer that will run that new Unreal Engine Flawlessly! But im on a budget. I would like to have the computer in the 500-600 range w/o the moniter. I have a new lcd. And i am thinking to got with nvidia 8600. BUt tell me what you guys think.. AND NOW VISTA!!

The min req. ill need is 1024mb or ram.. 2ghz processor, and a 128mb vid card w/ dx.10

But i have compiled this list together.. Just let me know what you guys think. (if micro atx will fit into that case then ill switch mobos..)

Lets see... Why 2 motherboards? The Powmax 480W isn't going to power anything right. The RAM is an ripoff, you can get some XMS2 or Quality GeIL DDR2 800 for $52 after rebate...

You cannot but XP for 17.99....

And I doubt you want to spend $90 on an wireless adapter that's most likely make you lag anyways. Wired for gaming.

Actually not quite understand the reason of using DX10 card on XP:confused:

Ram overpriced, you could get 2gb of corsair XMS2 for like 85$ with mail in rebate even, now for the mother board, well biostar isn't what i could call a good brand but isn't that bad

o and for my drive, do i need a dual layer? or is my dvd drive fine. And should i get a 64bit os or is that just a waste of cpu% and money?

Another brand who isn't that great, they have been having quality problems lately ( lots of dead on arrival stuff), again my suggestion would be corsair XMS2

Now for the mother board, who say it wasn't recommend for gaming? because any mother board can do gaming even server ones even if it was one or 2 reviews saying the opposite, it doesn't mean it can't game ( or at least with a graphic card, since the video integrated sucks as always)

Now for the optical drive aka dvd rom , well if you have the cash i would suggest you to get a dvd burner rather than a dvd readier since the price diff isn't that big but benefit it's
