I just bought a new case and some cool lights to go with it.

Now I need:
HDD (would like a WD Raptor)
Video Card
CPU (thinking about core2 duo e6600)
Mobo
Ram
PSU
= $1600

Like my other post I already have a Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, and Speakers.

Help on thos parts would be nice.

nice, but the mobos i have looked at are like $200-250.

Edit: O ya could i put watercooling in the future on a 7900gtx. Beening that the fan is so big would the fan be better then watercooling?

hmm lol, then i would drop the g-card to a 7900 GT and downgrade the RAM a lill.

EDIT: Accually theres no need too. If the mobo is 250 USD then the total is EST 1631 USD, just ova budget.

You will not need watercooling for this rig unless you do some heavy OC`in. The new Conroe`s run quite cool as it is and having a good HS and HSF inplace should do the job nicely. Though if you really want to watercool your system it requires a lill skill for installation.
If you do want this just post back and i`ll give ya some idea`s on cooling, options, etc...

I am think about getting watercooling (yes I plan to do some oc'in) in the future (Prolly around Chistmas). I heard that Core2 duo runs very well if you oc it.

But on my question before because the video card has a really big fan on it. So if I do oc it would the fan work good for that or do I need some better cooling system.

The stock GPU cooling should be sufficient for some some significant overclocking.

I dont like that hard drive configuration. Either get the raptor and a SATAII 16MB cache hard drive or get 2 SATAII 16MB cache in RAID O.

Raptor for master, the other for storage ! But yeah you will be better off with a SATAII 16MB.
