New Build for New Builder

I think I'm ready to attempt my first build to replace my 7 year old P4 machine. My budget is around $800 for a budget gaming rig and this is what's in my cart at Newegg (I'm pretty sure everything should work together). I held off on the soundcard and ethernet card for now (is there any advantages to having a separate ethernet card?) Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Here are a couple things to think about.

1. Wait a a few weeks and see what deals will come out for the Holiday season...there will be some good ones.

2. The PSU in that case is probably junk, you might need to figure a new PSU in your budget. That would make me nervous putting all that new hardware on the line with a 500w piece of garbage. There are some really good deals right now.

OCZ 600w FOR $28 AFTER REBATE!!!!!

3. You can find 9800 GTX cards for really good prices right now. Here is a BFG card for only $20 more and it has free shipping. I would bet that a few months from now you might wish you had the 9800 GTX. It will crush a 9800 GT.

Here is a head to head that was done with the two cards represented. There is not that great of a difference in performance but for only a few dollars more....I think it would be worth it.
