i just went out and bought a gigabyte mombo and i plug everything in and nothing just a black screen

i bought a gigabyte ga-ma780g-ud3h
ram: pqi turbo ddr2 800mhz dc
Cpu:amd phenom 2650
case + 500 psu that came with it. i plug it all in nothing comes up on the screen

Theres not a Phenom 2650, you mean a 9650 or 8650? Does the fans fire up or anything? You did get all the standoffs under the board in all the right places?

What happened when you turned it on?

Did the drives - and power light go on?
Did the case fans go on?
Are there any lights on the MOBO lit up?
What's working, what's not?
Or is the whole PC dead?

CPU power connector in place? using dedicated or onboard graphics?

ok i m ent 9650. also i got it to show up now its saying ntldr is missing when i go to install windows

Which version of windows, original copy, or a pirated "backup"....

oem version of windows just bought from new egg. i went to "press any key to boot from cd" i press a key once i get out of the bios my key board wont work

USB or PS/2 keyboard.

Check to make sure usb keyboard/mouse is enabled in bios.
