New Build - Need help with front panel connections - new build

I got my Switch on / Reset switches and Hard drive LED's set up.

* Front Panel Audio - It looks like I have 2 choices - AC 97 or HDA. Reading further - It looks like I want to attach the HDA plug to my Giga UDP4 x58 Socket 1366 MOBO.

Box = Antec 300
MOBO = Gigabyte UDP4, x58 chip, socket 1366

Can I just plug in the HDA plug - as the plug configuration matches up - or do I need to worry about the individual wires within the plug. Both manuals dont' exactly match teminology

Here's a list of the 2 harness wiring -
1) MIC2_L vs - MIC2 L
2) GND - vs - AGND
3) MIC2_R - vs - MIC2_R
4) -ACZ_DET - vs - AVCC
5) LINE2_R - vs - FRO-R
6) GND - vs - MIC2_JD
7) FAUDIO_JD - vs - F_IO_SEN
8) ( no pin ) - vs - Key ( no pin )
9) LINE2-L - vs - FRO-L
10) GND - vs - LINE2_JD

The harnesses match for both HDA MOBO and Front Audio Panel - can I plug them together?

In regards to the power LED cable, In the past I have bought server cases with 3 pin power connectors. Im not sure if anyone else would have a better solution but i used a knife and pulled the ground line up careful and placed it next to the positive. Then inserted it into the board and all went as planed. Just their is a extra hole hanging over the board. If you have a old case hanging around and it has any 2 pin connectors you could also cut the 3 pin off and solder and heat shrink the 2 pin on. But that's the long way of doing it in my opinion.
 
Thanks D4 - I think I resolved - and therefore deleted issue 1 from my OP. I found another plug that I overlooked. The online build your own PC guide is better than the reference book I was using.

Thanks, I got er plugged in. Plodding along on this build. IT's throwin me a few curve balls - but with the help of this site - nothing I can't get through :good:
