Hey guys I am brand new here and was looking to get some opinions. After several days of wanting to slam my head through a wall lol I think I came up with something pretty solid for myself. This will be mainly for gaming - WoW, SC2, Diablo 3 when it arrives, Random FPS games. I want to play my games at the highest setting possible. Here is what I have so far

Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor BX80601950 - CPU
ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel- Motherboard
G.SKILL PI Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI - RAM
CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC -Power Supply
COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU -Cooler
Corsair Force CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

The one thing I have missing is the video card. I am looking into the 580gtx. I was wondering if that may be overkill, but I know for some FPS games such as Metro 2033 this is a beast card for it. Any type of input would help Im looking to finalize and order this on Monday 11-22
Thanks for your time

If you have the money for it, go ahead. If not look at the GTX 460 or Radeon 6870 as they are awesome cards.

Everything else is superb, nice choices :)

Thanks linkin I'm still iffy on the heatsink tho, I'm trying to find something that won't get in the way of the memory heat sinks. I would go water coooling throughout but that will put me a bit over budget.
