New Build or Just Upgrade?

Hey guys,

Looking to upgrade my system, but not sure if this is worthwhile for now or just starting from scratch.

Currently:
mobo: Gigabyte 890gpa-ud3h
ram: 4 gb G Skill
gpu: GeForce GTX 460 2gb
cpu: Phenom II x4 955 BE
power: 500w Rosewill
os:windows 7 64 bit

Looking at changing the following:
ram: 8gb G Skill
gpu: MSI 960 Gaming 100 ME
ssd:Crucial MX200 250gb

Mostly used for gaming. I play Civ 5, Far Cry 3, WoT, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite. Looking to play newer games such as Far Cry 4 and Shadow of Mordor.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would say upgrade. Everything you want to get can be used in a new system anyway.
