New Build, Some Issues.

Ok. I just ordered the parts for a new build.
The case I got came with a broken power button, If anyone knows how to fix it let me know otherwise I'm going to try to exchange it.

Since the new case doesn't work I put it all in my old case. Now I'm pretty sure I set it all up right because I've done this before. Except I can't get it to turn on ;o...Like it won't read my monitor at all. I plug my monitor in and turn it all on and my monitor just has the "No Input" text floatin around my monitor screen. I have onboard graphics and a graphics card and it does it for both of them, Anyone know why?

Then most of the time it beeps. I don't know why it beeps, but it does. And I can't tell if there's an error on the screen or not cause...it won't read my monitor. I made sure everything was plugged in and in the right places. So if anyone knows any reason why it could be beeping it'd be awesome if you could tell me.
The beeping kinda goes "Beep"......About 5 seconds later "Beep", And keeps doing that til' I shut it off.

I only got a "Quick INstallation Guide" with the motherboard.
Plus I don't ever recall seeing error codes in my other two

Just little short beeps and it'll keep doing it until I shut off the machine.
Like I said "Beep....5 secs later Beep" and continues til I shut it off.

Sorry bout the problems..

personally, I would stick it to the company you dealt with and get a replacement..

that crap man!!

Yea that's what I'll prolly do. But I wanted to see if someone knew something or not lol Before having to ship it back and what not x.x

how many sticks of ram do you have? do you have them in consecutive slots. such as slot 1 and 2 out of 4 dimm slots?

I know that motherboards do lots of little beeps if you dont have your memory in 1 and 2.

thats my only thought.

Continuous beep at start up can be anywhere from memory to a short. Have you tried one stick of memory at a time? Plus are you sure you have the standoffs all in the right places, one could be shorting out against the bottom of the board.

Yes they were all plugged in the right places and all the way lol. I checked and then re-checked about 100 times lol.
And actually, that's one of the only things I haven't tried ;x....
