Ok, so he is buying most of my system for 900. I am willing to throw in some of my own money, but not sure if I'm willing to throw in that much. There are still some things I need.

That would be a psu. Honstly I don't know if I want to support sli or not. I've pretty much cinvinced my self that I don't need it, but then convinced my self the other way. So any input would be great. Also another recomendation on the mobo would be great. Remember the mobo needs to support ocz ram (90% sure I'm using that ram). Or since I would be ocing, would it be better to get pc4000 ram? Feel free to link ram as well.

Thanks for all the help in advace, Bob.

1. See PSU 101.
2. DFI LanParty boards (both RX200 and NF4 based) will let you hit vDimm4.0. ASUS's A8N32-SLI DLX, Sapphire's PURE Innovation and a few more will let you hit 3.2ish volts
3. Screw OCZ Platinum, their own OCz Gold VX or Gold GX is superior (ok maybe not the GX but definitively, the VX) as a general rule

I've already have read psu 101 and know what to look for and what not. I just wanted to know if any newer psu's have come out that are good, and I didn't have the time to look. Thats why I asked. Not because I'm ill informed.

I only need a mobo that could oc. I'm trying to keep cost down so would the a8n sli non dlx work fine, is the dlx that much better?

Right now I have Corsair xms pc3200 (2x 1 gig sticks). Would I be better off just keeping the ram now? Is corsair fine with asus boards?

Thanks for the help, Bob.
