New build under $1000

I haven't built a computer in 3-4 years and i am looking at all the new hardware and wondering if what i want is compatible? I am looking to keep it around $700 but would be willing to go as far as $1000. I am going to be using it to play newer games (not so much MMOG's). not used for photoshop or music editing. ]
I am in the IL, WI area and would prefer tigerdirect since there is one near me but if there are better deals on newegg i am more that willing to check it out.

I also am an AMD fan but could be swayed to Intel if it is better.

I prefer nVIDIA over ATI but also could be swayed. just looking for biggest bang for the buck.

Sure, but if you ever run more than one graphics card, the second one will only run @4x.

Should be a good board though, and has more PCI slots as you want. :good:
