So i have reinstalled windows 15 times and the same thing keeps happening i have tried a new hard drive, ram , still same result I cannot start in safe mode, please help

So i downlloaded the preinstall drivers for sata and then i extracted the files there are seven total files and im unsure on the one to install? and thanks for helping its the only new path i have not tried!

Do you have floppy disk? If you do just copy the files and before you start the installation, press f6 and insert the floppy disk. then it will install the driver and continue the installation.

Are you using a install disk that has at least SP2 slipstreamed into it? I just bought that motherboard myself and had no problems with it. If you are using a Pre SP1 install disk then you will need the sata controller driver. Or you can slipstream SP2 into a new install disk.

No im not using a disk with sp2 its a old xp install disk. So how do i slipstream sp2 onto the disk i have or should i just buy a new windows disk?

try vista or windows 7, could be an older windows xp that doesn't support newer hardware until windows updates are done. I know some of the early xp's needed fixes to run duo core.

What RAM are you using (amounts and frequency) and how many ports does that fill? Certain amounts using certain amopunt of slots on certain motherboard can cause problems, if all sots are filled NB core voltage must be changed and for some RAM memory voltage must be changed too. If they aren't right then you will find that you may get the occasional non-boot, it gets stuck on bios, OS installer freezes, unusual bios beeps etc
